The theme of this edition is 'You Create a Beautiful World'. The stories and images explore how we are making the world a more beautiful place by living our mission and bringing the light of Christ into communities.
Networking Issue 4 also covers the many highlights from this whirlwind of a year—from the welcoming of our new Chief Executive Officer Dr Paul Scully to updates on our major developments across Queensland. Read about our work with local communities to address needs, and the continued delivery of the Word of Jesus Christ through our church communities.
We have a wrap-up of our 134th Annual General Meeting, Ministers Forum over 16-17 November. Our new function space on the Kenmore Campus was a wonderful backdrop to these events. I encourage you to visit our new Kenmore Campus, which has finished its transformation from a theological college, to a professional, state-of-the-art facility. You can visit the onsite café and enjoy a coffee and chat overlooking the landscaped surround.
At the AGM we released our Annual Report 2016-17. If you would like a full appreciation for the breadth of our services and our reach into the communities we serve, I encourage you to peruse its pages. You can read it online at cofc.com.au/publications.
In 2018 we are destined for another big year as we continue our journey and bring light and beauty into our communities. I would like to wish you, your family and loved ones and blessed and safe Christmas and New Year. I look forward to bringing you more stories and keeping you informed about happenings around Churches of Christ in Queensland next year.
